Biography

   Nicolette Edmonds is a glass and ceramic artist living in Virginia specializing in the creation of sculptural work inspired by the environment . She graduated from The Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in 2023, earning her BFA in Craft and Material Studies. During her time in school, she was awarded scholarships in the arts from the Allan Eastman Foundation and the Lillian and Nathan Reiss Foundation. Nicolette served as the Vice president of the Glass Art and Design club, and volunteered for the RVA Clay Tour in 2023. Her work was exhibited in the “Take-Up-Space” Exhibition in the Summer of 2023 in the The De Pllars Gallery.  Edmonds has attended a workshop taught by the artists Raven Skyriver and Kelly O’dell at The Penland School of Crafts.
